Hub Concórdia
Nova Lima, MG, Brazil 2020The Hub project consisted of developing the client’s administrative spaces on several floors of the Concórdia Building, in Nova Lima, MG. As a design premise, the client’s standard layouts were used, reconsidered, and adapted to the space available on each floor. In addition, the company’s colors were applied to the office’s visual communication as a way to differentiate the spaces between floors, making it easier for employees and visitors to navigate. For each floor, a pair of colors from the company’s palette was selected to be used on walls, floors, and furniture.
Regarding landscaping, the proposed compositions aim to reproduce and highlight the contrast between the striking elements of the ferruginous fields, which are part of the natural landscape surrounding the site. In this way, the landscape design creates inspiring spaces capable of meeting people’s need to reconnect with the natural environment.
Contributing to the interior atmosphere and user comfort, the lighting strategy was developed to address the specific requirements of each space and its intended uses. Furthermore, the lighting design also sought to enhance the company’s standardized solutions, bringing greater visual organization to the spaces.
