Sou Energy I
Eusébio, Ceará 2022Sou Energy is a leading company in the import and distribution of solar energy solutions in the North and Northeast regions of Brazil, with 12 years of history. The project for the company’s new administrative headquarters, developed by BCMF Arquitetos, conveys—through its form and content—its ideals of innovation, sustainability, and efficiency, while also clearly expressing its origins.
The intention is to create an integrated office environment inspired by new workplace trends—flexibility, decompression areas, horizontality, comfort, and informality—while also showcasing elements of local culture and the company’s own identity through landscape design, textures, colors, and artistic-cultural references applied to its surfaces.
On the façade, large, fully transparent glass panels allow integration between the interior and exterior spaces. These are complemented by modular solar panels that function as a second skin, acting as brise-soleil to protect the surfaces exposed to greater sunlight. This natural lighting control strategy, combined with strategically placed courtyards, terraces, and double-height spaces at the core of the building, optimizes the use of air conditioning and artificial lighting, making the construction more efficient in terms of environmental comfort and more sustainable regarding energy consumption.
